Fascial integrative therapy is a specialized form of manual bodywork that gently manipulates an underlying soft tissue structure in the body called the fascial system.

Much like a three-dimensional body stocking made up of a web of filament-like strands, the fascial system holds the body's bones, muscles and organs in place.

Proper balance of the fascial system is crucial to maintaining structural and mechanical balance for all systems within your body. Injury or repetitive stress can cause the fascia to bunch up or snag in places, causing additional mechanical load on a variety of musculoskeletal areas, leading to symptoms of chronic pain and loss of function. 

By stretching and smoothing the fascial filaments, the body is restored to optimal balance, promoting faster healing, more efficient detoxification of the body, and general health and well-being for the patient.
